Terms of service.

Welcome to Arc Wellness. Our goal is to provide you with safe and effective treatment in a professional environment. Please take a moment to review the following policies so you know what to expect before your session.

Licensing & Professional Standards

• All services are provided by a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in good standing with the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy. Registered Yoga Teacher certified through a yoga alliance. Personal training certified through the American Counsel on Exercise (ACE)

• Your safety and comfort are always a top priority, at Arc we follow professional ethics and state regulations.

Your Health & Safety

• Before your first session, you’ll complete a health intake form so we can understand your needs and tailor your treatment appropriately.

• Please let us know about any changes in your health, medications, or injuries before each session.

• In certain cases, physician approval may be required prior to treatment.

Communication & Consent

• Provide accurate health information on intake forms

• Communicate preferences regarding pressure, pain levels, and areas of focus

• Consent can be withdrawn at any time during the session

• Immediate communication of discomfort or concerns is expected

• Respectful communication is required at all times

Scheduling & Appointments

• Sessions are by appointment only.

• Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.

• Please arrive about 10 minutes early for your session to allow time for check-in.

Cancellations & No-Shows

• If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice.

• Cancellations with more than 1 hour notice and less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged 50% of the session fee.

• Missed appointments without notice or cancellations made within the hour before an appointment  (“no-shows”) will be charged the full session fee.

• Exceptions may be made for emergencies at the discretion of Arc Wellness

Payment

• Payment is due at the time of service.

• Accepted forms: cash, credit/debit cards, and gift certificates.

• Gratuities are never required or expected.

• Trade agreements and sliding scale payments must be mutually agreed upon and beneficial for all parties involved

Professional Boundaries

• Bodywork, personal training and yoga are professional, non-sexual services. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session, full payment due, and possible reporting or barring of future services.

• Clients must arrive clean and sober. Services will not be provided if a client appears intoxicated or unsafe.

• Respectful communication and mutual trust ensure the best possible experience.

• Clients should respect the professional nature of the therapeutic relationship

• If you see your practitioner out in the wild they will not acknowledge your professional relationship or initiate a conversation out of respect for your privacy.

• Personal questions about the practitioners private life are discouraged

• Clients may not request services outside the practitioner's scope of practice

Confidentiality

• Your personal information and health history are confidential and will not be shared without your written consent, except as required by law.

Late Arrivals

• Please do not stress about late arrivals, life happens, however end times will not be changed out of respect for other clients.

• Full payment is still required for the reserved time.

Minors

• Clients under 18 must have a parent or guardian’s consent.

• A parent/guardian may be required to remain in the room during the session.

Wellness & Illness Policy

• If you are sick, please reschedule your appointment. Bodywork is not recommended when you are ill.

• If you arrive with symptoms of a contagious illness, the session will need to be rescheduled.

• We follow strict sanitation procedures to ensure a clean, safe environment.

Client Expectations

• Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your start time. 

• Personal hygiene is required (showering on the day of treatment is appreciated)

• Please inform your therapist of any changes in health status, medications, or injuries

• Cell phones must be silenced during sessions
